Aiden is from Lufkin, Texas and graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. He joined the lab as an undergraduate research assistant in January 2020, and joined the lab full time after graduating. Outside of work he enjoys golfing, working out, and cooking.
Beita is a medical student at University of Maryland, School of Medicine, completing a year-long research fellowship in Dermatology. She enjoys traveling, reading, painting, eating new foods, and playing the kamanche (an ancient Persian instrument)!

Eddie is a Mexican MD who completed his Masters on Biotechnology in the Garza Lab. He is now a postdoctoral research fellow with the group.
Eddie likes listening to music and watching song contest shows, as well as hanging out with his friends
GRADUATE STUDENTS
Kaitlin is an MD/PhD student at the Johns Hopkins MSTP who joined the CMM graduate program. She enjoys hiking, playing fetch with her dog Culver (named after the iconic midwestern chain Culver’s), houseplants, hanging out with her husband, and painting.
A BCMB Ph.D. graduate student born in New York City, Charlie ironically loves the outdoors and camping. He studied viruses during undergrad at Virginia Tech and as a specialist at Johns Hopkins, before realizing his love for Regeneration/Computational Biology. In his free time he’s either fixing his house, going on birding trips or playing guitar in a PhD band!
